The Emergence of Advanced Electrical Products

Today we are living in the 21st century; it is the age of technological advancement and revolution. Technology is encompassing our planet at a great pace. All the gadgets and appliances made by man require electricity. We have become so much reliant on electricity that we can't even imagine our life without it. Electricity has become our indispensable requirement and so are the electrical products. 1) Cable: It is the most basic and the most relevant electric accessory. The cable can be defined as a set of wires usually made of copper or aluminum that is covered in an insulation or sheath, used for transferring the electrical current from one place to another. 2) Switchgear: Switchgear is a somewhat sophisticated electrical device. It is a kind of distribution device used for converting the incoming current into various smaller circuits. They are also used as circuit breakers for providing overload protection. Switchgear vary according to several parameters like mounting style, number of panels, and other miscellaneous technical specifications.

3) Switch: Again, the electrical switch is a simple, still fundamental electrical device. The basic function performed by a switch is to change the course of an electric circuit. Switches are of various types like general and power switches.

4) Socket: Socket is a device which allows us to connect the various electrical appliances and equipment to the main power supply. The pins of the plug of the electronic appliance are inserted in the slots of the socket, from where they receive the required current.

5) Cord: It is a kind of flexible and insulated cable which have a plug on one or both ends. Its basic function is to connect an electrical equipment with the power source. Cords are of various types like extension cords, AC power cords, and DC power cords.
